This lot holds deep significance for the roastery, as it comes from the first organic-certified farm in Central America, owned by Graciano Cruz—where Doubleshot was originally founded in 2009. The Catuai variety used here underwent an anaerobic natural processing method, involving controlled fermentation before being sun-dried. This "funky" single-origin espresso is designed for demanding palates, delivering a juicy and exotic cup with complex notes of rum pralines and honey, balanced by a bright citrus acidity and a sophisticated cacao nib finish.
